How Rutgers On-Site Advisors Support You

Rutgers advisors and partner institution staff work together to support students throughout the transfer and enrollment process. All locations offer on-site Rutgers advising, providing students with direct support as they prepare to transition into a Rutgers degree program.

Support services may include:

  • Understanding how coursework applies to your Rutgers degree
  • Planning your transfer path into a Rutgers program
  • Guidance on Rutgers degree requirements and milestones
  • Enrollment support for transitioning into Rutgers coursework
  • Coordinated advising between Rutgers and community college teams

Students benefit from support across both advising teams and are encouraged to connect with a community college and Rutgers on-site advisor early to better understand program requirements, transfer opportunities, and available support services. You don’t have to navigate the transfer process alone. Support is available at every step as you work toward earning your Rutgers degree.
