The following list of questions addresses general information about Rutgers Statewide.

Rutgers Statewide allows you to earn your Rutgers bachelor's degree directly at one of our convenient community college partner locations across New Jersey. Our current sites include Atlantic Cape Community College, Brookdale Community College, Camden County College, Mercer County Community College, County College of Morris, and Raritan Valley Community College.

There are a variety of undergraduate majors available. Degree offerings vary by location. Rutgers Statewide programs

We offer a Master of Social Work for Professionals at Atlantic Cape Community College.

Yes, financial aid is available to students attending Rutgers Statewide at a community college partner site. 

To apply for federal student aid, submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). We recommend submitting you FAFSA as as possible after January 1 for fall admission or October 1 for spring admission.

Yes, all courses offered through the Rutgers Statewide program are taught by Rutgers instructors.

Yes, Rutgers Statewide offers both full-time and part-time options for most undergraduate programs. 

You can complete your studies at a pace that fits your schedule, with many programs offering evening and weekend classes. (Please note that the undergraduate Social Work program is currently offered on a full-time only basis.)

Yes, some degree programs offer online courses.

The number of credits required before you apply depends on the degree program you select nd the level of courses you have taken. Rutgers Statewide degree programs require the completion of an associate degree. We strongly encourage all student to complete an Associate of Arts (A.A) or Associate of Science (A.S.). If you have an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S), please speak with the academic manager at your selected location for further clarification.

Yes! Once you are accepted into the Rutgers Statewide program, you become a full-fledged Rutgers student. You will take regular Rutgers classes taught by Rutgers faculty, and upon completing your degree program, you will earn an official Rutgers University diploma. 

Absolutely, a degree from Rutgers University holds the same value regardless of where it was achieved. You will receive the same degree as those graduating from one of the main campuses.
