Understanding Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition

Embarking on your academic journey at Rutgers Statewide Partnerships is an investment in your future, and understanding the financial aspects is a crucial first step. We're committed to making your education accessible and affordable. This page provides a clear overview of tuition costs, financial aid opportunities, and the resources available to help you navigate the process, ensuring you can focus on achieving your academic goals

Tuition is the cost charged by the university for taking courses and is often based on the number of credits you take.  At Rutgers, tuition varies based on school affiliation and degree program. After registering for courses, Rutgers issues students an online term bill each semester, which includes a detailed breakdown of all tuition and fees. If you're uncertain about the campus and department associated with your selected major, we encourage you to connect with a knowledgeable Rutgers Statewide advisor.

Term bills list the tuition, fees, and other costs due after deducting credits for loans and financial aid, such as scholarships, grants, and other items. Paying your term bill completes your enrollment for each semester. An interest-free payment plan option is available.

Below are a few links that will help you better understand the tuition, fees, and other costs of attending Rutgers. Down the Financing Your Education guide below for a comprehensive overview of tuition, financial aid options, and resources.

With reasonable tuition and generous financial aid, Rutgers offers an educational investment that will pay off. Most students piece together funds to attend college through a variety of sources. Many students at Rutgers receive at least one form of financial assistance through scholarships and grants, loans, and/or work study, and use a combination of personal savings or family contributions or outside funding to make up the difference after financial aid.
