Take your associate degree to the next level and earn a BA degree or BS degree through Rutgers Statewide. Meet the Rutgers University requirements for admission, apply to your select undergraduate program and take courses at one of our partnership community college sites

Please note that you will complete your degree program entirely at your community college site in conjunction with some online components. Travel to Rutgers-Camden, Rutgers-Newark or Rutgers-New Brunswick is not required. Before you start your application, review the instructions for your particular program. Most programs allow you to enroll as a full-time or part-time student. Select the appropriate community college partner site and choose the major you wish to pursue at that particular location. Preview the college application for transfer students and access information about distance learning, financial aid and applying how to apply to Rutgers.

Step 1: Access the Rutgers Undergraduate Admissions website: admissions.rutgers.edu

Step 2: Click on “Apply” in the upper right corner

Step 3: Click on “Apply Now”

Step 4: Click on Undergraduate Admissions Application

Step 5: Create an account to begin your application

  • You can also click on Related Links, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS) and Preview the Admissions Application before you get started.

Step 6: Start the application by completing the Personal and Contact Information section.

Step 7: Click on Undergraduate Admissions Application

  • Once you click on the Transfer button, more information about your transfer status will appear.
  • Choose all that apply to you and the number of credits you have completed.

Step 8: Once you have completed all above questions, click “Add/Select a School or Program.”

Step 9: Click “University/Location” and select “Partner Locations.”

Step 10: Select your academic interest.

Step 11: Select the Statewide location you wish to apply to and hit “save.”
