Transferring Credits

Bachelor of Science in Labor Studies | Rutgers at County College of Morris

For students interested in transferring into the Bachelor of Science Labor and Employment Relations program at Rutgers at Morris, completion of the following County College of Morris courses are recommended before enrollment:

• MAT 124 OR MAT 130 Introduction to Statistics

Students completing an Associate in Applied Science Degree should complete the recommended course before enrollment:

• MAT 110 College Algebra

The above courses should be completed as part of or in addition to an associate’s degree program.  Completion of an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree is strongly recommended before transferring and is preferred to completion of an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree.

Students may transfer up to 60 credits from a community college to the School of Management and Labor Relations and must receive a grade of C or better for a course to be transferred in.  A minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA is recommended to be considered for admission.

For students who have not completed an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree at County College of Morris, it is recommended to consult with a Rutgers at CCM advisor prior to applying to transfer to discuss transfer eligibility.

Courses for the Labor and Employment Relations degree at Rutgers at CCM are taught online in class at the CCC-Blackwood campus and online courses.  Students interested in transferring into this program should be comfortable with taking the majority of their courses online.
