For students interested in transferring into the Bachelor of Science Public Health program at Rutgers-CCM, completion of the following CCM courses are required before enrollment:
One Biology: BIO 127 (Biology of Environmental Concerns) or BIO 101 (A&P I) or BIO 121 (General Biology I) (required)
One Chemistry: CHM 117 (Intro to Chemistry) or CHM 125 (General Chemistry I) – (required)
Math: MAT 124 (Statistics) – (required)
Public Health (PBH 101) – (recommended)
The above courses should be completed as part of or in addition to an Associate Degree program. Completion of an Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.), or Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree is required to be considered for admission.
Students may transfer up to 60 credits from a community college to the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and must receive a grade of C or better for a course to be transferred in. Students may transfer up to 90 credits from a four-year university or college and community college combined.
Courses for the Public Health degree at Rutgers-CCM are courses taught online and one or two courses will be offered at the CCM location.
