Transferring Credits

For students interested in transferring into the Bachelor of Science in Leadership & Management or Marketing program at Rutgers-CCM, completion of the following SCCC courses are required before enrollment:

  • •ACCT 101 (Principles of Accounting I) 

  • •ACCT 102 (Principles of Accounting II)

  • •ECON 101 (Macroeconomics) • ECON 102 (Microeconomics)

  • •COMS 110 (Computer Concepts & Applications)

  • •BUSA 220 (Principles of Marketing)

  • •MATH 110 (Pre-Calculus I)

  • •MATH 108 (Statistics)

REQUIRED COURSE @ CCM: CAN BE TAKEN SUMMER PRIOR TO ENROLLMENT

  • •MAT 118 or MAT 131 (Calculus with Applications or Analytic Geometry/Calculus I)

The above courses should be completed as part of or in addition to an Associate’s Degree program. Completion of an Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree is required to be considered for admission. AAS or AFA degrees are not eligible for admission to this degree program.

Students may transfer up to 60 credits from a community college to Rutgers Business School – Newark and must receive a grade of C or better for a course to transfer.

Courses for the Leadership & Management or Marketing degrees at Rutgers-CCM are a combination of courses taught in-class at the CCM campus and hybrid courses. Students interested in transferring into this program should be comfortable with taking some online courses.
