Transferring Credits

Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration | Rutgers at Camden County College

For students interested in transferring into the Bachelor of Arts Business Administration degree offered at Rutgers in Blackwood, completion of the following Camden County College courses are recommended before enrollment:

  • ECO101 – Macroeconomics
  • ECO102 – Microeconomics
  • ACC104 – Financial Accounting
  • ACC105 – Managerial Accounting
  • MTH111 – Elementary Statistics I
  • MTH112 – Elementary Statistics II
  • MTH100 – Algebraic Concepts
  • MTH114 – College Algebra for Business
  • MTH122 – Applied Calculus
  • CSC101 – Computer Literacy
  • LAW101 – Business Law

The above courses should be completed as part of or in addition to an associate’s degree program. Completion of an Associate in Arts (A.A.) or Associate in Science (A.S.) degree is required to be considered for admission. The Associate in Science Business Administration degree (ABA.AS) is the recommended associate’s degree program at Camden County which includes most of the above courses as part of that program.

Please note: Students completing an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree are not eligible to transfer into the Business Administration degree program

Students may transfer up to 60 credits from a community college to Rutgers-School of Business Camden and must receive a grade of C or better for a course to be transferred in. A minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA is recommended to be considered for admission.

For students who have not completed the Business Administration (ABA.AS) associate’s degree at Camden County College, it is recommended to consult with a Rutgers at Camden County advisor prior to applying to transfer to discuss transfer eligibility. 

Courses for the Business Administration degree at Rutgers at Camden County College are a combination of courses taught in class at the CCC-Blackwood campus and online courses. Students interested in transferring into this program should be comfortable with taking online courses.
