RN to BS Nursing ONLINE ONLY

The Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is for individuals who have completed an associate's degree or diploma nursing program and would like to advance their education to earn a bachelor's degree in nursing and grow as professionals. Students can achieve their career goals quickly, and our program can be completed in as little as one year with full-time attendance. All courses are held in an asynchronous online format, and our program is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Admissions Requirements

Students admitted to the Fully Online RN to BS Nursing program must meet the following requirements: 

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher is preferred
  • Graduation from an accredited associate degree or diploma program
    • Students in their final semester are eligible to apply
  • Current licensure or eligibility to be licensed as a Registered Nurse
    • If not an existing RN, must be eligible to take the NCLEX exam

Transferring Credits

Students who enroll receive (33) credits for passing the NCLEX and may transfer up to (60) additional credits for previously taken courses. 

Plan of Study

The RN to BS program follows a structured plan of study designed to guide students through the coursework required for graduation. Each student receives a personalized plan upon admission, based on a review of their previously completed coursework. Download Program Worksheet

Ready to Apply

Prospective students can apply during the spring or fall semesters. Enrolled students receive credits for passing the NCLEX and may transfer up to (60) additional credits for previously taken courses. With full-time attendance, students can complete required courses in one calendar year. Enrollment Coaches are available to address program-related questions and help prospective students through the enrollment process.
