Admissions Requirements
There is no minimum GPA needed in order to apply, however, a 2.5 or higher GPA is recommended to be competitive for admission. Students who have completed an associate’s degree and required prerequisite courses at a regionally accredited community college are eligible to apply. It is strongly recommended to meet with a Rutgers staff member to review required prerequisite courses.
Transferring Credits
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey will transfer a maximum of 60 credits from an NJ county college to a Rutgers degree program for those students who have completed an A.A., A.S., A.A.S. degree. Please visit the NJ Transfer website at www.njtransfer.org to review the Recommended Transfer Program (RTP) for any undergraduate major at Rutgers. Students may transfer up to 90 credits from both a 2-year and a 4-year institution combined.
